BioI'm a big fan of things. Mostly good things. I'm a college student from Kansas City, going to school in California. I'm a hopeful future filmmaker, and obsessive film nut. Here are a few of my favourite things, which should tell you a lot about me:
Music- Five Iron Frenzy, Johnny Cash, Ben Folds, Weezer, Phantom Planet, Jimmy Eat World, The Fire Theft, Sunny Day Real Estate, Sufjan Stephens.
Films- ...a lot. Everything from Alec Guinness's classic comedies to Lord of the Rings to Downfall to Gattaca to Road to Perdition to the Superman series to Hitchcock films to Star Wars to Memento. A lot of things, truly.
Actors- Kevin Spacey, Ewan McGregor, Alec Guinness, Anthony Perkins. Those are the big four. Some others include Kate Winslet, Edward Norton, Brandon Routh, Damian Lewis, and John Cusack. I admire the work all these people do.
Filmmakers- Christopher Nolan, Bryan Singer, M. Night Shyamalan, Alfred Hitchcock, David Fincher, Charlie Kaufman, Steven Spielberg, Baz Luhrmann, Richard Linklater... and I must throw in my love of John Williams.
Other interests- writing, comics, sports (especially the NFL-- go Chiefs), theatre, awkwardness, my faith as a Christian.
